During my stay in Croatia I volunteered in the project of invasive mapping of the species Ailanthus altissima in the Poreč area. I learned a lot and realised that natural diversity is the greatest treasure that we can leave behind for future generations! Nature holds the key to tackling many contemporary global issues, but only through conservation efforts and public awareness can we ensure that they don’t get lost forever.
