Stadt Poreč finanzierte das Projekt unter den Namen „Inventarisierung und Überwachung der invasiven Arten in Poreč und Umgebung“ im Zeitraum von 2015 bis 2016. Das Ziel dieses Projekts war eine interaktive Karte von zwei invasiven Arten (Götterbaum und Caulerpa Racemosa) zu erstellen und Zusammenstellung der Projekte mit gleicher Thematik auf dem Gebiet von Stadt Poreč zu fördern. Im Rahmen des Projektes wurde Stadt Poreč und deren nähere Gebiet untersucht, die Basisinformationen über die Anwesenheit dieser Arten wurden gesammelt, digitale interaktive Karten von Umgebung der Stadt Poreč mit markierten Standorten, wo diese zwei invasive Arten gefunden sind, wurden erstellt. Ausbildung von Kinder und Erwachsene wurde durchgeführt, um im Kampf gegen fremden invasiven Arten beizutragen. Die allgemeine Öffentlichkeit wurde für diese Thematik sensibilisiert.
